“Unknown” is a prequel/side story to a novel-length work in progress titled Unbroken which chronicles the story of a betrayed and deposed Empress who must fight for her life to regain her throne.
In “Unknown,” Zion is an orphan pick-pocket working for the tyrannical Thief Master Rael when a stranger gives him an opportunity that will change his life forever.
