L’insomnie – for Angst and Longing Prompt

Silver-shod feet falter,
Star-flecked fingers flee,
Dancing on feather-light limbs

Farther fly from me.

Silken, sultry strands,
Of purest platinum gleam
Over molten moonlit sands

Disappear deeper into dreams.

“Sleep” anthropomorphized for Angst and Longing prompt.
