I usually blog during my downtime at work (shhh) but the next few days I will be training my replacement since my last day is Friday (commence happy dance). I’ll be back and harassing you all this week(end) after normal business hours. Check out the pages at the top in case you’re behind—especially How Not to Die in a Zombie Apocalypse and Dwyer’s Hollow.
And, in the mean time, don’t forget about me.
“Don’t- don’t- don’t- don’t…”
By Judd Nelson’s excessive flaring nostrils, congratulations! 🙂 Good luck with whatever you’re moving on to do. What are you doing after leaving your current employ?
P.S. I have some catching up to do with your writing. Also, that’s one of my favorite movies.
I love this movie AND Judd Nelson, I just bought it this weekend! I’m moving up to Boston for graduate school so it will certainly be an adventure! Thank you!
Hope you enjoy the pieces you haven’t read!
Grad school!!! You brilliant thing! I hope to be joining your ranks next August.
Oh stop that! Best of luck—if I can get in, I’m sure you will. I think I referenced Harry Potter in my letter of intent. I regret NOTHING.
This comment makes me so happy. ‘Arry POTTER!
‘arry POTTAHHHHH. I need to go find it so I can find the exact sentence and fill you in on the genius.
Fantastic choice of clip there. You clearly have impeccable movie taste.
Thank you much! As soon as I thought of doing a “don’t forget” post this song was rolling!

You train the CRAP outta your replacement! So they won’t bug you with nonsensical questions at grad school. I had that happen with a job I had for years. Trained my replacement, left, and had them calling me for weeks because the dumb twit couldn’t do my job. They eventually had to hire two additional people. Flattering, especially once the annoying calls stopped.
Breakfast Club is awesome. And like the Breakfast Club, I could never forget about you 😉
❤ ❤
It’ll probably happen anyway—I harassed the girl before me since my “training” was negligible. I think she can handle it though.
I just love Judd Nelson at the end (and when they reference it in Easy A).
🙂 stahhhhp it
